MALWAREBYTES GOOGLE CHROME NOT WORKING WINDOWS
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it more times than I care to count, tried system restore twice (only to have Windows tell me on start up that Restore did not successfully finish), and even deleted the registry keys for Google. The second I reconnect to the internet, Chrome stops working. I get the “Google Chrome has stopped working” error each and every time I open the browser, but if I disconnect from the internet Chrome starts up just fine and I can navigate through it. Well, I have tried every “fix” above, and I am still unable to start Chrome. So, if you’re having this issue, I hope you stumble onto this little piece of guidance and that it hopefully saves you a few hours of frustration.

I cannot speak for the paid versions and given the reputation of Bitdefender I’m still hoping they’ll respond as I would like to try their software out.
MALWAREBYTES GOOGLE CHROME NOT WORKING FREE
So, eventually it occurred to my why not just “set back” the system, i.e., do a Windows System Restore to a few hours when I started experiencing this issue and after restoring the system I got the same error message upon trying to open Google Chrome except I deleted Google Chrome and re-installed it again and VOILA!!! My Google Chrome is working again! If you’re looking for anti-malware and anti-virus software I would be wary of the “free” versions because although people seem to love these upstarts and their free versions, they MAY cause issues. After using their “un-install” software that didn’t work either. I went to Malwarebytes and Bitdefender to find their “un-install” software just in case the typical way of “un-installing” things didn’t work. I downloaded some Software Remover from Google that supposedly removed software that causes issues with Google Chrome and nothing.

I re-installed Google Chrome no less than three times.

I would get the following Windows error: “Google Chrome has stopped working.” I deleted everything in reverse order all to no avail - yes I’m a little poetic. So, I basically had an ISSUE after downloading Malwarebytes’ anti-malware software and Bitdefender’s anti-virus software as it seems to have collided with my Google Chrome not starting although my IE and Firefox worked fine. This isn’t a “response” but rather trying to provide my approach to fix this after several hours of frustration I found a less than technical workaround that worked just fine for my immediate purposes of ensuring that Google Chrome browser would work as it originally did. Have another suggestion? Lets discuss it in the comments below.
